President's September 2006 Message
Dear fellow FDA members,
It's hard for me to believe that my year as FDA
president is over. However, FNCE in Hawaii was
a wonderful way to wrap up the year. It was great
to see so many Florida dietitians there and many
in leadership roles. Thanks to Judy Rodriguez,
PhD, RD and Joyce Gilbert, PhD, RD, who are both
serving on the ADA BOD for their countless hours
of work on our behalf. Thanks also to our delegates,
Gail Kauwell, PhD, RD and Sheah Rarback, MS, RD
who represented us so ably at the House of Delegates
meeting. Also, Clara Lawhead, MS, RD and Gail
Kauwell, PhD, RD were speakers at FNCE. Florida
is so proud of our ADA officers, delegates, and
speakers!
On the home front, here's the latest FDA news….
