Membership
As an ADA and FDA member, you participate in
an elaborate network of nutrition professionals
and friends who continue to have a profound impact
in the field of dietetics both locally and nationally.
You remain informed of the latest issues affecting
nutrition in Florida and in the food industry
nationwide. Most importantly, you become part
of a larger community of Florida nutrition professionals,
who share a like commitment to the nutritional
challenges our state faces everyday in healthcare.
ADA and FDA membership benefits include but are not limited

The membership year begins June 1 and expires on May
31. Dues help fund ADA and FDA numerous programs and services.
To become a member of Florida Dietetic Association (FDA),
you must first join the American Dietetic Association
(ADA). You MUST request your state affiliation
(i.e., you moved to Florida, when you change your
address with ADA you MUST also change your
state affiliation). If Florida is the state you
requested, then you will become a member of Florida
Dietetic Association and will have access to all
member information, as well as the Members' Only
section of this website. ADA will send us confirmation
of your membership. You must contact ADA with
any change of address, name or contact information.
All new FDA members receive a Welcome Brochure.
This is mailed once we are notified by ADA of
their addresses. The brochure outlines FDA's history,
licensure information, our purpose, organizational
structure and association activities. A list of
current officers is also provided.
