Laura Matarese is the Director of Nutrition, Intestinal Rehabilitation and Transplant Center, Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center.  She has authored over 150 books, manuscripts and videos.  She lectures extensively both nationally and internationally and was honored as the first recipient of the Advanced Clinical Practice Award from ADA.  Laura will speak on Maximizing Bowel Adaptation in Short Bowel Syndrome.
